A 3rd-year student of the Department of Film and TV Arts, JIANG Jingjing, won the Best Screenwriter in the 2013 Xia Yan Cup for her script “Tour Bus”.

XIA YAN Cup, whose full name is the XIA YAN Screen Script Prize, is sponsored by the National Centre of Broadcasting, Film and TV and the Chinese Research Centre of XIA YAN, and aims to promote the development of Chinese film creation. This year 1339 screen scripts joined the competition, 4 of which won Best Screen Script Prizes , 11 of which won Creative Screen Script Prizes, and 18 of which won Potential Prizes.

DU Xiao’ou, an alumnae of the Academy won a Potential Prize.
