In the recently-closed Chinese Art Festival, Prof. LIAO Xianghong, a Vice-president of the Academy, won the Best Director Prize for her stage work “ A Special Homework” produced by Chinese Children’s Art Theatre. 4 professors won prizes for Stage Design. They are: LIU Xinglin and his ” The Dream of Red Mansions”, produced by the North Kunqu Theatre Group, Beijing; LUO Jiangtao and his “The Story of Xijing”, produced by Shanxi Xiqu Academy; XIU Yan and his “ Crossing the River”, produced by Hubei Xiqu Theatre Group; and HU Yaohui and his ” A Child Who Wants to Fly”(lighting design).

在近日闭幕的由文化部主办的中国艺术节上，我院副院长廖向红凭为中国儿童艺术剧院执导的《特殊作业》荣获第十四届文华奖导演奖；舞台美术系4位教师荣获第十四届文华奖舞美设计奖，分别是：刘杏林为北京北方昆曲剧院设计的昆曲《红楼梦》，罗江涛为陕西戏曲研究院设计的秦腔《西京故事》，修岩为湖北省戏曲艺术剧院设计的黄梅戏《妹娃要过河》，胡耀辉为北京儿童艺术剧院设计（灯光）的儿童剧《想飞的孩子》。
