On December 7th The Fourth Innovation Award Ceremony of the Ministry of Culture and the Fifth China Summit Forum on Cultural Innovation was held in Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. The Project ‘The Development of the Application System of International Stage Designer Training’, which was submitted by the Department of Stage Design of the Central Academy was awarded the Innovation Prize. Prof. Sun Daqing, the director of the Department accepted the award as the Academy’s representative.

The Innovation Award was set up in 2004 by the Ministry of Culture. 144 candidate projects were recommended from all over the country, 20 of which obtained an award, and 9 of which were nominated for The Fourth Innovation Award.
