Prof. Serge Le Péron of the University Paris VIII was invited to lecture at the Academy from Oct.30 to Nov.5. 2012.

Prof. Le Peron gave lectures on "The Art of Film Directing " and commented on the students' work. On his lecture, he screened his documentary film "Film and the World" and discussed the significance of film criticism.

Prof. Le Peron also talked with Prof. WU Yajun, the director of the Department of Film and TV art about further communication and cooperation between the two schools during his stay in Beijing.
