On the morning of November 6, the 10th International Master Workshop on Theatres and Theatre Companies Management, themed as “Performing Arts, Technology and the City”, officially opened at the Changping Campus of the Central Academy of Drama. Guided by the China Committee for Promoting Art Education, the event was jointly organized by the China Collaborative Innovation Center for Theatre Arts Management and the China Drama Association, and supported by Beijing Poly Theatre Management Co., Ltd. 

Under the theme “Performing Arts, Technology and the City”, two round-table talks were held  focusing on two topics: “Synergy and Tension between Performers and Audiences in Urban Regeneration” and “The Expansion and Construction of Performance Spaces in the Digital Era”.

As a milestone marking the 10th edition of the program, this year’s event represents not only a convergence of global expertise in the performing arts, but also an important opportunity to build cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural bridges for dialogue. It aims to support China's performing arts industry in its pursuit of innovation through technological empowerment and urban integration, while helping the sector identify new roles and achieve new breakthroughs within the broader context of Chinese modernization.
