From October 26 to 31, the World Dance Drama Education Alliance held its second edition of live activities in Marseille and Paris, France. The event sparked a series of forward-looking discussions on global dance and drama education and artistic creation.
The Alliance’s meeting on October 27 highlighted the Alliance’s recent development strategies and reviewed the achievements of member institutions in dance drama education, creative research, and international collaboration. Four new organizations officially joined the Alliance, including Association d'Echanges Artistiques Franco-Chinois (AEAFC), National School Dance De Marseille, California Institute of the Arts and Inner Mongolia Arts University. Their admission marked a further expansion of the Alliance’s global collaborative network and strengthened its international exchange platform.
The second edition of the event was jointly organized by AEAFC and the National School Dance De Marseille, and has gathered representatives from thirteen professional institutions and organizations across six countries. The activities included the Alliance’s meetings, an international forum, teaching workshops, performance showcases, institutional exchanges, and masterclasses, comprehensively demonstrating the global landscape and intercultural value of contemporary dance drama education.
