Prof. Song Ying is a CPC member and serves as Vice President and a member of the Standing Committee of Party Committee at the CAD. She specializes in Art Education and Management.

She is a director respectively in China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Branch of Ideological and Political Education of Chinese Association of Higher Education, and Beijing Society for Party Building at Higher Education Institutions.

She graduated from the School of Management of Beijing Normal University in 1991 as Bachelor of Law. From 2000 to 2003, she took professional post-graduate courses on Development and Educational Psychology of Beijing Normal University. In 2007, she received a master's degree in Literature from the CAD. She started to work for the CAD in 1991, and served successively as Secretary of Youth League Committee, Deputy Director of Students Affairs Office, then Director of this office when she was Deputy Director of Teaching Affairs Office at the same time, before she became Director of the latter office. In December 2010, she was promoted to be Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the CAD. Since October 2022, she has been serving as Vice President of the CAD.
