From September to December 2025, eighteen master's and doctoral students from the Central Academy of Drama participated in a three-month study program at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS). The program combined classroom instruction, theatre research, performance observation, and visits to museums and memorial institutions, providing students with a comprehensive introduction to Russian theatre and culture.

The curriculum covered a wide range of subjects, including acting, directing, playwriting, the history of Russian theatre, and the history of Russian literature. Through these studies, participants gained a deeper understanding of Russian theatre and related artistic disciplines.

On December 18, the eighteen participants presented a final performance showcase for their Acting and Directing courses at the Chernigovsky Campus of GITIS. The performance demonstrated the achievements of their three months of study and artistic training.

On December 20, the students successfully completed its 90-day program and returned to Beijing. They found the experience rewarding and transformative, and expressed their commitment to applying what they had learned to their future academic and artistic endeavors, contributing to the continued development of Chinese theatre.
