On June 12th, The 4th International Theatre Group Management Master Workshop was opened at the North Theatre, held by China Collaborative Innovation Center for Theatre Arts Management of The Central Academy of Drama China. Themed on "Drama, City and Life", this activity invited 11 top managers and scholars from notable theatre troups and theatre education agencies from The Royal Shakespeare Company UK, Shiki Theatre Company Japan, Emilia Romagna Theatre Foundation Italy, Shanghai Grand Theatre China, National Theatre of Strasbourg France, Arts Centre Melbourne Australia, National Theatre of Korea, St. Petersburg State Youth Theatre Russia, China National Theatre for Children, Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre Ukraine, The Swedish National Theatre of Finland, The Central Academy of Drama China. They were with responsible persons from more than 60 threatre troups nationalwide to discuss a series topics under the frame of "the Relationship between Drama and City".
On June 15th, the experts visited Chang Ping Campus, President XU Xiang met them. Vice President XU Yongsheng, MA Shuzhi, Dean of Theatre Management Department and Deputy Dean LI Qian, YU Yi from the International Relations Department have attended the meeting. The experts highly praised our academy's achievements, and did further discusses on school's development, students cultivation, status of theatre troups domestic and abroad.
