Prof. Serge Le Péron of Université Paris 8, France was invited to give a series of lectures in the Department of Film and TV Arts from 14th to 18th April. Prof. Serge Le Péron gave a series of lectures on How to Block a Film Scene, Alain Resnais, André Bazin and the Film industry vs. Art Films.

Prof. LIU Libin, the Director of the Executive Committee of the Academy, invited Prof. Serge Le Péron as a guest professor of the Academy to the opening ceremony of the “2014 French Film Exhibition of the Academy” .

As a renowned contemporary film theorist and critic, Prof. Serge Le Péron worked as the editor of Cahiers du Cinéma, Chair of SRE and the founder of ACID.
