The 3rd Sino-Russian Dialogue on Stage Art, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture for China, the Ministry of Culture for Russia and the Russian Embassy in China, was held at the Academy in October. Themed as “ In memory of Stanislavski’s 150th birthday”, the main activity of this event was a master class on Stanislavski’s acting techniques, and was held at the Academy on Oct.25. Experts from the Chekhov Art Theatre, Moscow and the Meyerhold Art Centre gave lectures on Stanislavski’s system and modern theatre technology, and also conducted actor- training workshops.
