Mark Knight is a senior prosthetics technician and creature prosthetics for film and TV in New Zealand. He graduated from the School of Art and Design, Auckland Institute of Technology. Serving as a Senior Prosthetics Designer and Supervisor at Disney, he led a team committed to the research and application on combinations of various materials for tools, as well as the production of mechanical, electronic animation, and special effects riggings.

Currently, Mark serves as a tutor for Cut Above Academy (New Zealand) in prosthetics design. He has worked as a senior prosthetics technician for more than 20 films and television, including 'Mulan', 'Dark Sector', 'Power Rangers', 'Shannara 2', 'Legend of the Seeker 2', 'Spartacus', 'Treaty of Waitangi' and 'The Evil Dead 4'.

Mark Knight joined our Academy to impart his expertise in prosthetics techniques to undergraduate and graduate students specializing in Make-up of Stage Design Department in 2019, showcasing the comprehensive process from production, application to embodiment.
