On the morning of July 27, 2021, a delegation consisting of 27 students and teachers from Macau's primary and secondary schools arrived in Beijing to embark on a five-day visit and exchange program organized by the Macau Youth Education Promotion Association. At 9:30 in the morning, the delegation's first stop was the CAD's Dongcheng campus. Representatives from the Macau Youth Education Promotion Association presented our university with a commemorative book marking the centenary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. In return, the CAD also presented souvenirs to all members of the delegation.

Then, all members of the delegation gathered in the theater's east hall to attend an academic lecture given by Professor Fu Jin, with the theme "The History and Evolution of Chinese Theater." Starting with the styles of Chinese theater, Professor Fu highlighted the significance of Yuan Dynasty miscellaneous dramas and their influence on the stratification of Chinese opera. He traced the historical development of Chinese theater and explained its modern transformation, as well as its legacy and preservation in contemporary times. The lecture featured rich documentary materials and examples from various Chinese theatrical forms, such as Nuo opera, Kunqu opera, and Qinqiang opera. The content was both informative and easy to understand, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

After the lecture, the delegation was guided by the staff of the CAD's experimental theater for a tour. The staff introduced the characteristics of the college and the theater, as well as recent productions. The teachers and students of the delegation showed keen interest in the rehearsal process of the CAD's upcoming musical production, 'Family', which is scheduled to be performed at the Tianqiao Art Centre.

At noon, the delegation formally ended their visit to the Dongcheng campus and took a group photo to commemorate the event.
