Born in September 1965, Prof. Sun Daqing is a CPC member and a PhD advisor. He holds a degree of Master of Arts (Theatre and Xiqu Studies).

At CAD, he has served successively as Dean of Stage Design, Director of Office of the CPC CAD Committee/Office of the President, Director of Publicity Department of the CPC CAD Committee, Director of the DRAMA Journal Office, Director of Development Planning, and Assistant to the President.

He is a member of the National Steering Committee for Graduate Education in Fine Arts, Director of Beijing Association of Higher Education, and Vice Chairman of the Arts Committee of Higher Education Institutions of China Television Artists Association.

He presides over the undergraduates’ teaching affairs, academic affairs, student admission, finance, assets, and the DRAMA Journal.

He oversees the Department of Dramatic Literature, and the Department of Musical Theatre.
